Double Backer Belt

The double backer belt is also called woven corrugator belt, it is a specialized hot pressing/drying conveyor belt for the double backer of the corrugated cardboard production line. The double backer belt is suitable for long-term high temperature, high pressure, high speed, and high humidity conditions at 130 ℃ and responsible for the clamping and conveying of cardboard, heat conduction drying, shaping and anti warping.

Material of Double Backer Belt

Foundation: Synthetic fiber woven layer (temperature resistant, wear-resistant, low elongation).

Enhancement: Kevlar warp and weft thread/core (high-speed thread, heavy-duty cardboard, elongation<0.8%).

Functional layer: anti-static fibers, hydrophilic coating; Surface plain/diagonal/herringbone pattern, bottom wear-resistant coating.


Typical structure of Double Backer Belt

Surface layer: dense and wear-resistant, no indentation, high friction (μ ≈ 0.42).

Middle layer (with core): polyester+aramid, tensile, elongation resistant, breathable channel.

Bottom layer: wear-resistant and anti adhesive, suitable for hot plate/roller surface.

Specification Range of Double Backer Belt

Thickness: 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm (± 0.3mm, mainstream in the industry); Width 1600-3500mm (customized according to the width of the corrugated cardboard production line)

Temperature resistance: 130 ℃ long-term, 200 ℃ instantaneous; Melting point is about 254 ℃

Joint: flocking joint and steel buckle (steel buckle is prone to indentation, not recommended for high-speed lines)
