Breathability is the most important technical indicator of corrugator conveyor belt, and the corresponding technical indicator of corrugated cardboard is moisture content. That is to say, the drying of moisture in corrugated cardboard is completed through a corrugator belt. The workflow is that the corrugator belt applies pressure to the cardboard to adhere to the surface of the heating plate, absorbs heat and evaporates water vapor. The water vapor is absorbed by the corrugator belt and dissipated during operation. Therefore, there are very high requirements for the moisture absorption and breathability of corrugator conveyor belts. Excessive breathability will inevitably cause the cardboard to become too dry and prone to breakage; Poor breathability can also result in high moisture content, reduced strength, warping and deformation of the cardboard, which can affect the smooth progress of subsequent cutting, indentation and other processes.
The characteristics of high-quality corrugated cardboard are straight corrugations, high tensile strength, smooth surface, and no indentation. These features are largely achieved through the transportation of the hot plate and cooling parts.

The tensile strength of the joint area will decrease, making it unable to withstand strong tensile forces for a long time and cracking.
High-quality corrugator conveyor belts diagonal joint method and special adhesive fixation treatment on the joint area can minimize the decrease in tensile strength and ensure high efficiency and durability during operation.
Generally, the temperature of the hot plate surface of the tile line is between 170-190 ℃, and the higher the speed of the corrugated cardboard production line, the higher the required temperature of the hot plate surface. It is easy for the corrugated paper on both sides of the corrugator belt to come into direct contact with the hot plate due to its narrow width, which affects its service life. Using Nomex fiber (resistant to 280 ℃) on the surface of the needle punched belt, this fiber is a thermosetting material that does not melt, effectively extending the service life of the corrugator conveyor belt.
As one of the most critical components in a corrugated cardboard production line, the corrugator conveyor belt is driven by the double facer roll and must run synchronously with the speed of the corrugated board.
If the belt speed is not properly synchronized with the production line, it may lead to poor bonding quality, unstable board formation, and reduced production efficiency. Therefore, a high-performance
corrugator conveyor belt must ensure stable running performance and precise speed synchronization.
