Application of Rubber Polyurethane Roll
Rubber roll are the core components of printing machine, mainly used for processes such as embossing, ink adjustment, and ink transfer. They are divided into two types: hard rolls and soft rolls. Hard rolls are often replaced with polyester resin instead of traditional copper materials, while soft rolls are often made of materials such as SBR, CR, PU, etc., which have characteristics such as oil resistance, wear resistance, and moderate elasticity. Polyurethane rubber rolls are suitable for high-speed printing and various ink types due to their excellent high temperature resistance, tear resistance, and hydrophilicity, and are easy to clean and maintain.
Advantages of Polyurethane Rubber Roll
1.The tensile strength and wear resistance of polyurethane rubber rolls are 3-5 times that of natural rubber rolls. The compression permanent deformation, resilience, and wear resistance are better than those of synthetic rubber rolls such as nitrile rubber rolls.
2.The polyurethane rubber roll colloid has sufficient surface viscosity. Therefore, the rubber roller has good ink transfer and ink absorption performance during the printing process, and good ink affinity can ensure high-quality printing.
3.Polyurethane rubber roll have good affinity for water: due to the addition of special formulas in polyurethane materials, the internal structure of their molecules is changed, introducing and increasing factors that have good affinity for water, improving the material's resistance to surface tension and surface water absorption. Therefore, the water and alcohol series rubber rollers used as dampening agents have excellent effects.
