The corrugated waves of corrugated cardboard boxes are like arched doors connected one by one, arranged in a row and supporting each other to form a triangular structure. They have good mechanical strength and can withstand certain pressure from a flat surface. They are also elastic and have good buffering effect.
1. According to the cross-sectional profile, it can be divided into: V type, U type, UV type
(1) The radius of the V-shaped corrugated arc is very small, forming a corrugated shape resembling a triangle.
With the combined force of two diagonal lines, the compressive strength is high. But if the external load exceeds its bearing limit,
the corrugation will quickly break and cannot be restored to its original state even after the load is removed, which means poor elasticity.

(2) The radius of the U-shaped corrugated arc is relatively large, so it has good elasticity. After being loaded, it undergoes elastic deformation within a certain limit. After the external load is eliminated, it can basically recover to its original state. Due to the circular arc shape of the stress point, U-shaped corrugated is not stable enough, resulting in lower compressive strength. Its circular arc has a larger contact surface with the surface and bottom, and requires a large amount of adhesive.

(3) UV corrugated combines the advantages of the two types of corrugations mentioned above, and has high compressive strength and elasticity, as well as a reasonable amount of raw material usage, making it the widely used corrugations at present.
